Has the WA premier just resigned and walking away from politics?

Probably slightly earlier than I expected but he was never going to bother running next time around.

He is the last on the old pollie pension scheme , $250K a year plus for life..

Off to Woodside or Rio now for the champagne and private boxes plus big bucks along with that blue collar socialist Wyatt., happy days.

Saffioti to get the job I would say.

Hey, where were you Saturday? Your fruit cup melted, a bit like your team.

But I agree, they must have the big shiny desk ready next to Ben Turncoat at Rio Tinto. Wouldn't be pulling the pin otherwise.

Yep,

Wyatt and him had an agreement to go early, but Ben cut and ran early. Sneakers has been champing at the bit to piss off for a while.

The house in Rock will be flogged and he will be up in the rich cashed up burbs quick as a flash.

I would imagine cookey would slide into the position as he is the deputy sheriff. Although Anderson has made no secret of liking to climb the ladder. Probably makes no damn difference to the voters.

Good riddance can't stand the prick. I've never liked 4 year terms and this has probably contributed to his burnout. Almost as good as a Perth win on Saturday.

The Libs/Nats have a punchers chance at the next election. They should have a pep in their step after this news.

Maybe Albo can send him to China as Australian Ambassador. Just been over there greasing the wheels for WA.

Indeed the high water "Mark" for WA Labor has come and gone from now they will be just protecting what they have , which is a truck load of seats a pile of which will flow back to the libs next time around but it won't be enough fro them to win.

None of the other labor ministers are really popular Cooked would be a disaster Saffioti is pretty much the string puller behind he scenes and has a huge amount of influence, she's also on the news in a hard hat most nights talking about Metro Mess, she will most likely want to be in the top job and out of transport prior to the Armadale line shut down which promises to be a nightmare in more ways than one for about two years.

Some gravy like the job in Peking would not be off the cards and no doubt being talked about.
