Wonder if Brad Scott will find his way back to Brisbane to replace Fagan? Can't see Fagan coaching again.....gee North will be spewing if Clarko doesn't come in now.....

If Brisbane had made the GF, I wonder if any of  these allegations would of been made public until next week. Obviously not a good look, sadly a few folk are going to be thrown under the bus here......

I have a feeling that this is another witch hunt.  It’s all gone quiet, so let’s get some facts out in the open.

Freeze, shouldn't we wait and see what the actual facts are before sending Fagan & Clarko out to pasture? Or has so much damage been done to his rep by all the, so far unsubstantiated media hype surrounding what are very disturbing allegations.

Had a chat with a mate who is in the TV media and asked if he knew any inside goss and he said '"not much" just that the former player who headed the independent Hawthorn inquiry who also happened to be indigenous was the one who leaked the report to the ABC journo. just wondering what was his motive for leaking the report ahead of time and to the indisputably woke ABC. Did he have an agenda?  ooops, of course thats just an allegation

An ex assistant coach who remains unnamed has come out scathing of both Clarkson and Fagan saying they were like the Russian Mafia the way they treated indigenous players and if you spoke up you were frozen out. McLachlan better pull his finger out and get the ball rolling with an external investigation. This is bigger than Ben Hurr. I'd say it's game over for Fagan and Clarkson.

NM and Brisbane better have contingencies in place for a new coach.

While still allegations, they are pretty damning allegations by this assistant coach and corroborate what others have said.
This is looking worse and worse for the HFC and some of their employees.

If the investigations prove the allegations to be true the HFC may be looking at some major court cases and payouts, if those allegedly affected take civil actions.

SS, I would like to think innocent until proven guilty, but can't see any of this being resolved for a while, thus can see Brisbane especially, moving on and looking towards 2023.  As for Clarko, either he has been totally blind sided here or thinks as a 4 time flag winning coach, he is completely untouchable. All the messiah is returning,  associated with his will I  or won't I coach again.....will it be Essendon or GWS or North? .....and now all this becomes public knowledge....doesn't make sense....why would Clarko sign with North, knowing this shite storm was brewing.

Someone is going to be made to carry the can.....reckon Fagan before Clarko.....which puzzles me, as Fagan seems the least likely character out of the two TBH.

Reading through all the comments and I know a bloke who knows a bloke, on OF, I get the feeling that  Clarkson and Fagan have been tried and judged….verdict is….. guilty!!  They’re just waiting on the sentence now.  Perhaps they are guilty, but I want to hear the real outcome and if they have a case to answer, they will pay the price.

Here is another thing that hasn't been said here yet. Clubs rely heavily on corporate sponsors and sometimes coaches get asked to speak at corporate events to help drum up more sponsors.

Coaches therefore need to have a squeaky clean image otherwise sponsors will walk in fear of having their name associated with a club who's coach or coaches have been accused of something bad.

That, is what I believe is the main reason Ross Lyon was shown the door at Fremantle and Lachie Neale left, ironically because of Chris Fagan's rapidly growing reputation at the time.

If sponsors say they are pulling out while such and such is coach then money talks.

As I’ve always suspected this isn’t unique to aboriginal players I reckon past white fella’s would have similar stories. Well ex Hawks captain, future club legend and Hall of Famer, Norm Smith, Brownlow medalist, F&B winner, 4 or 5 time premiership player you name it he’s done it and current coach Sam Mitchell has come out and said some pretty damming stuff about how Clarkson treated him and his family around finals time.

The AFL better stop calling this about racism and stop discriminating against non indigenous players and make reviews into treatment of past players, about ALL players not just those with an indigenous background.

When I played many, many years ago, we had a team of aboriginals in the league.  Most of them were terrific blokes, but there were a few that just wanted to knock a white c’s head off.  Their coach was the most racist person I can ever remember.  So no doubt there would have been a bit of this around in the major leagues back a few years ago.  I’d be surprised if it was happening today.
