Probably should of mentioned this in the Cricket thread, but sad to hear Bacchus has  had a heart attack today in Qld. Currently in hospital, touch wood the fella makes a full recovery.....

Fingers crossed for a speedy recovery for Bacchus.

From reports it seems like he was very lucky, they are saying his heart actually stopped and it was lucky that the people he was with could keep him alive until help arrived.

Rod always seemed larger than life, especially after I bought and read his book many years ago.  Gloves of Irony….great read.

I saw Rodney Marsh enjoying a quiet one with the hugs and kisses outside the E Shed markets in Fremantle a couple of months ago. What a combination Lillee and Marsh were hey?

Is that stand coming down in the redevelopment of the WACA? I think it’s older than the Prindiville stand and due next to come down. If the Marsh Lillee stand ever comes down then a new one should be named in their honour in its place.

Rod has been placed into an induced coma according to the latest report. Usually that is a bad sign.
