Is this the beginning of the end?  I hate to see my daughter work so hard in a sport only to be beaten by some bloke in a dress with a mental health problem.

I must admit I never thought that I'd agree with anything that you posted Bob but on this issue we are very much aligned!

Sleepy Joe has issued a flurry of executive orders, including one that is aimed at preventing discrimination on the basis of gender identity or sexual orientation and prohibiting workplace discrimination in the federal government.

As would be the case with all mind numbing democrats the move was celebrated by LGBTQ advocates. As you suggest this is completely and totally insane.

On day 1, Biden unilaterally eviscerates women's sports. Any educational institution that receives federal funding must admit biologically-male athletes to women's teams, women's scholarships, etc.

A new glass ceiling was just placed over girls. The executive order obliges all education institutions that receive federal funding to allow boys who self-identify as girls to participate in female sports, and that there would be administrative consequences if not. Women’s sports is a protected category. This ensures fair competition, which will only be diminished if schools are pushed to give biological men the right to participate in them. This executive order is a threat to decades of women’s achievement!

That is the Woke Left Democrats for you mate!

The mistake everybody makes is that the so called far right is somehow alligned to the Republican Party.

Most moderate republicans have had a gutful of the extreme left and thankfully it seems that an increasing number of moderate Democrats are now starting to see the light!

 of course. In my opinion a number of talented female sportswomen are really being put under pressure these days. The over the top coverage of women’s sport in recent years in Australia has hidden the lesbian influence and control of a lot of these teams. My fear is young talented girls being put off playing sports because of gay and now trans intimidation in the change room. A recently retired female soccer player tried to alert people to the fact of the problems she faced in her career but of course no mainstream media were courageous enough to report and follow through on it.

Most of those women commentators in the media for their various sports are that way inclined as well Cess hence probably why it was swept under the carpet!

My great niece plays for the Matilda's and she is straight and has no problems with or from the others players who are bent in any direction. 

The world is changing but there clearly needs to be a line in the sand, what or where that is I have no idea but there needs to be a clear qualification for mens, womens and whatever other group there is and it needs to be sooner than later.

I dont think we need to change anything to pander to these people who claim to be changing sex (like creating a 3rd category)
If you have gone through this, im sorry but you are only eligible to play sport for in line with the sex you were born. Its a biological fact.
A bit like i would love to be 6.5ft and play for the Wildcats. Unfortunately my physical biology didnt allow for that. Luck of the draw.

It's not a simple situation, I feel for those individuals who truly feel they were born in the wrong body ... like me, I should have been 6'2" and 75k's not 5'6 and 95k's.

My personal opinion is that sports should based on the biological gender you were born with, it makes it clear and simple, no arguments about a level playing field it just comes down to natural ability and who works hardest.

If those of transgender do not feel that is fair then why not create your own sporting federation where only trans persons can compete, thereby also providing a level playing field.

My sister in law was a state hockey player back in the day and was one of the minority straight girls in the squad but she had no issues with any of the girls. Whether gay or straight it's a totally different issue to transgender. Gay guys or lesbian girls are still guys or girls.
