Been rumoured Christine “Cartier” Holgate could be the next AFL CEO if Gil pulls the pin at the end of next year. Disgraced ex Australia Post CEO on ridiculous money and handing out $4000 watches on tax payers tab. Obviously got a big payout and I think recently won an unfair dismissal case or got a huge payout for the PM’s comments that she should resign. 

I’m really sick of women using AFL football to push their gender equality agenda’s.

DD how, where is this a case of a person using a rumoured appt to push a barrow. 

If she gets the gig then it would not be any different to Gil or the previous numpty getting the job.

What's dangerous? What background has she had in AFL football apart from sitting in a corporate box swilling booze with a few elites?

Pretty sure she's a too and from, still got the English accent. This is just a push for more women to represented not only in football but the corporate world. I'm not saying women aren't just as capable but FFS you do need a football background for this job to understand the game and the history of the game.

Well don't keep me in suspense, enlighten me. Traditionally the role of AFL CEO has been handed down to the next inline who has worked on the AFL commission in some understudy role. It's about time someone from the other two traditional football states WA and SA had the job.

I take your last post as clarifying your first post, which I thought was complaining about a woman doing the job, but I see now you were complaining that she isn’t  from WA or SA.

Dead right about giving someone from WA or SA the job, although the Mexicans would be worrying about losing their control of the (V)AFL.  Didn’t they have an SA boss some years ago?  Maybe they could give the gig to Basil Big Nose

Wayne Jackson was the first non-victorian boss although the current one is also from SA originally
