We’re not that desperate, are we?  People got to remember, it’s easier for the opposition to sit on the sidelines and bag the govt than it is to govern. 

Still a way to go before we are back at the ballot boxes.

Yes the Libs have made a muddle of the vaccine rollout but finally look like their getting a handle on it, plus the economy is going along very nicely and unemployment is dropping, despite the feared end of Jobkeeper.

Big issue is with the Nats and that rootrat baffoon Barnyard Joyce. I think he might settle down a bit after making his presence felt with some policy announcements that go against agreed coalition policy. Once he thinks that it might leave the door open for labour, he'll pull his head in sufficiently. If he thinks life is tough as the junior coalition partner then he needs to think about life under Pinko Albo.

Speaking of which, Labour are doing well as an opposition, but Albo is the ball and chain they have to drag around. Will be interesting to see if they continue to put up with is distinct lack of popularity, given his opposite number.

What a poor choice we voters have at the next Fed election.

The article is behind a paywall.  Is it possible to provide a precis of what is in the article? 

Depending on whether Labor performs a lot better in Queensland will go a long way to determining the outcome of the federal election in my opinion.  I would expect Labor to pick up some seats in WA and Victoria.  SA may see one or two losses to the LNP.  Victoria will be strong for Labor.  The prevailing view was the LNP would pick up seats in NSW.  This expectation may be tempered to an extent by the COVID-19 vaccine roll-out and what is currently happening with NSW in lockdown.  The other potential imponderable is whether Joyce returning to the LNP will be a nett positive or negative for the LNP.

As much as I dislike Morrison and his mob due to their mismanagement of the current situation (plus a couple of personal issues with him) the idea that Albanese could lead a government is just beyond belief. We would be so stuffed at the end of 4 years that not even Fraser, Whitlam, Hawke and Costello could get us out of it!

Just remember if it wasnt for Clive Palmer preferencing his "party" votes to the LNP, Queensland would have been a lot closer. Unless Palmer is going to try and pull the same stunt again, QLD could result in some gains for the opposition.
The handling of the virus has been appalling. A different message every second day in regards to vaccines, still no hubs away from hotels after 18 months and no end in sight. That will be a big issue to a lot of people.
Then there is this headline. After Sports Rorts with Bridget McKenzie and now this, it makes you wonder if there are any more we dont know about yet.

This Federal Government has totally stuffed up the vaccine roll out and refused to look at other alternatives to hotel quarantine. Morrison has failed to show any leadership in anything really from the bushfires to the issues relating to the sexual assault of women to the pandemic. Many of his ministers are either arrogant, corrupt or incompetent (or all 3)
They deserve to be put into political oblivion but I fear that the Labor party does not have enough traction with the electorate to do the job.
