What do people think about Hardwick’s idea of clubs lending a player to the opposition on an as needed basis?  I think it could work in the AFL, but does the WAFL need something like this?
2x25= Seinor and Michael = 1xBrian Peake

 UK soccer clubs have a player loan scheme in place and it works.
If the 8 Wafl clubs wanted the same, they'd make it work somehow.
No doubt there would be many, many details would need looking at before such a scheme was implemented.

Usually in the European football leagues the players are young and only loaned to lower divisions or to other countries teams. Not sure that lending a player to an amateur team would work in WA but in Vic teams could loan to a non affiliated VFL oops neafl  team or whatever the east coast super league is called.
