Totally agree. Deregister him until he fesses up. How will the AFL look abetting someone refusing to cooperate with a police investigation? There's a reason St Kilda let him walk for a bargain basement price.

It is not illegal not to to say who stabbed you.
If you are not making a complaint, then there is no investigation.

He will have to answer to the AFL integrity officer though.
