Not a good day at the office. We would never wish that on our team but after a couple of ok weeks in a way this could be a blessing if it ensures the power brokers don’t shy away from an important change in the coaching ranks

Surely fellas it waa just the umpires which gave The Tiges the win? Thats how its been forever according to everyone on this forum. Anyway who cares what's the point in making the finals we all know who's goin to win the flag

I am not sorry the season is over, there have been very few highlights from a Swans point of view, a lot of young lads were given a taste of league footy. Lets hope some of them can develop further next year. The club needs to spend the next month reviewing its football operations and to be honest they need to put a broom through it and introduce a fresh approach with some new people as it seems that there are a few that have been there for too long.

I am going on an overseas trip so this will be my last post for a while so as far as the WAFL finals are concerned good luck to anybody trying to beat Subiaco, pretty forlorn I would have thought.

Looking at how EF played out this year, I think it’s worth making changes to your Football Department. Whether Monaghan and Co will oversee a sustained period of success at EF is still up in the air, but the whole place and supporters are buoyed by what’s happened this year- and we’ve only won 5 games! The change in Head Coach, Assistants, Football Manager ect gave everyone a fresh start. Some hard calls were made on the list (Hampson, Schofield ect) and it generally feels the place has turned around.

Pickering and co might be good Coaches/admin but fresh faces are probably needed.

Thank f%c% the seasons over.In my 4 decades of following Swan Districts. With massive roller coaster moments.
At least a dozen Wooden Spoons.
5 Premierships.A side in the early 80's that was one of the best teams in the country.
Also aware the players reward for playing today. Doesn't meet the commitment they give to the club. But that's the competition.
But never seen our side winning games with 7 goals on fine weather days.
Another Subi flag on the horizon. And good luck to them on setting the bar for the whole competition. But after 2 decades of dominance. It's terrible for our Wafl comp.
Wish Perth got over the line yesterday. And gave some X Factor in our finals. No help from the umpires yesterday.
Would be good to see Swans+East Perth+Perth+West Perth up and about in 2020.

If only our Board had the same gumption as Freo.
Harding and Smart would have been gone by 2015 and we wouldn't be in this mess now.
I worry that re-signing Pickering with Smart now in his 11th year will resign us to another 5 years in the wilderness.
