Ye of little faith BH...we all thought the same earlier in the year at Basso but it was only a goal just before 3/4 time by Powell I think it was then a run of 5 unanswered in the last that got us over the line. If you guys play like than again on Saturday then you'll be in the mix that's for sure.

Hmmm BC if my mob had won 95% of their games over the last 5 years like your mob then maybe one would go in to the game with some degree of confidence but the stark bleeding reality is you have won 95% and we have won probably only 25% in that time!
Not too mention we havent won at that mudpit for over 5 years against your mob who rarely lose anywhere...come to think of it how are you only tipping a 24 point win surely you are missing a digit from that figure?

Love that mudpit and the freezing stand that's what footy is about princess Beas

The last 50 Swans V Subiaco games dating back to 1999
Subiaco won 40, Swans won 10. Subiaco have won the last 9, most of them by over 10 goals.
More recently Swans have won 4 out of their last 28 WAFL games, Subiaco have won 27 of their last 28.
Please forgive us for being less than optimistic about tomorrows game. The hoodoo will be broken one day but I doubt it will be tomorrow.

Tough ask for Swans this week, let’s hope just because we got the win last week, the president doesn’t repeat his step of providing a pregame rev up to the players. This is a true sign of desperation and lack of clout from Pickering, not to mention lack of professionalism from Hodyl. Watching Pickerings post match video on Swans Facebook page, it just looks too obvious he is out of his depth.

A story on the west today hints that the club is moving closer to resigning him. Yet more evidence that too many from Hodyl down lack real leadership and capability to run the club.

I totally agree.
Hodyl proudly announces we have a new 5 year plan which to my reckoning has taken 7 years to develop.
It bemuses me that only now have they decided we need to change a few things and perhaps allowing Smart to recruit duds needs to be one of them.

Well two weeks into the 5 year plan.
We must be getting to the bit that details the at most games start at 2.15pm as it was if we weren't there in the first half and Subi where having a training run and showed us what a well drilled team they are.
The second half was a commendable showing as we held our own with only a couple of points increase of the first half leed.
I like the move of Dylan Smith into the ruck while he is a couple of centimetres off 2m he leaps and gave us first use of the ball on quite a few occasions.
A loss, but not all doom and gloom.

Couldn't believe the half time score in this match of the 9 goal difference whereby Swans only had 1 goal on the scoreboard. Whatever Subiaco were doing in the first two quarters, they obviously got it right. Apparently Subiaco scoring 7 goals in the second quarter to Swans no score at all? To Swan Districts credit, they came out after the long break and had a much better second half. But the damage had been done by then.

Totally predictable result. Top team going along at about half their capacity cruising to victory against a clearly outclassed opposition. No prospect any more of a bottom team causing an upset against an arrogant group saving themselves for finals, which used to happen quite regularly 20 years ago. No wonder most people have lost interest and are staying away from the WAFL

They only had to play one quarter to beat us.
At least we had a crack in the 2nd half, first half was rubbish.
Really need to improve the midfield, Smith showed a bit at times and hopefully he sticks around, same with Clarke who is very talented.
Well done to umpire 13 for his efforts to not penalise throws, meant the game could flow better towards Subiaco’s goals

Guys could you please stop complaining and just raise yourselves to subi’s standards. Just get together say 4 mill and get yourself an awesome and growing coastal zone and you are on your way.
All you need then is a completely absent wafc to oversee your player payments and bob’s your uncle.
If you spent more time on these things and less time complaining on here you too could win all your games forever.
Just remember when you win to insult your opposition by complaining about how bad you played and then patronise them by pretending they will one day be competitive.
And to put the cream on the cake if your best player is interviewed after a big win he should reveal, as Horsley did a couple of weeks ago, that he was taking more interest in the cricket than the footy.

Really impressed with Dylan Smith from yesterday but noticed he was missing from the club for a couple of years. At only 22 should be a real asset as he has size and can take a grab.
