Just for the hell of it I checked the team lists from the last 3 years 2016 -2019 and came up with the following list of players who suited up for the league team at some stage over this period and are now no longer with the club. I left out the retirees and the AFL draftees like Tobe Watson and Griffen Logue
1. Nelson Ansey
2.Jacob Burnham
3. Ricky Cary
4. Freddie Clutterbuck
5. Jacob Coniglio
6. Chad Daniels
7. Aaron Elari
8. Adam Faulkner
9. Sean Fletcher
10. Laurence Grescos
11. Tyson Hodge
12. Benjamin Holman
13. Logan Hughes
14. Matthew Jukes
15. Lindsay Murray
16. Jake Nuich
17. Rudy Riddoch
18. Matt Rogers
19. Thomas Smirk
20. Taryce Stewart
21. Justin Simpson
22. Brody Sutton
23. Jack Watson
24. Ben Whitsted
25. Steven Witjk
26.Troy Yukich
27. Levi Ridley
28. Mitchell Mackenzie
29.Josh Kirkup
30. Jesse Manton
31. Ben McGilveray
32. Jacob Ness
Thats a lot of turnover in 3 years. Of course we have also lost club stalwarts like Ames, Ugle, Banfield, Blight and Simpson. It could be argued that some of the list above were just not up to league footy but surely not all as some of them like Rudy have gone to other clubs and succeeded.I doubt if any other club is losing players at the level that Swans are. No wonder we are struggling.

Thanks BC, another poor recruit to add to the other lot.

Absolutely poor decision to recruit that bloke. Spits it after being dropped to the reserves? Hmmm he did exactly the same thing at Fremantle after making his debut as a sub and coming on in the last qtr, was listed as an emergency the following week for the trip to Sydney to make way for a senior player coming back in. What was his reaction? Didn't bother turning up to the airport. Who does he think he is Elvis Presley? The head of your football department should be sacked.

I don't think anyone from Perth is qualified in any way to offer any other club any advice

How about managing finances?

Yep thats right SD. Gee Justin was a good player could do with a few more of his type in the team. A real clubman.

Making grown men play at 850am last week won’t be a big selling point to keep players on your list. Has anyone over there complained to the club about this? I must say originally I thought they had swapped colts and ressies around. When I realised it was for a waflw game you feel like you shouldn’t go on about it but I don’t think anyone over 18, male or female, should be playing a game of footy at 850am. I don’t know what the solution is but it is not what happened last week,

Just 3 goals against a side who has been the worst in the league for 2-3 years.

You have a scan of the clubs Facebook page and you have board members and club staff (notably the operations manager) posting defensive comments and taking ‘keyboard warriors’ to task. Not a good look and very unprofessional. These so called keyboard warriors are supporters and likely members who spend their hard earned.

Disarray on and off the field.

3 goals on a day like today is just disgraceful. Embarrassing really. Swans are now officially the basket case of the WAFL

Bless me Father for I have sinned.
for the first time in my 50+ years of attending Swans Games, through good years and bad.
I left early.
The weather was fine, the track was good.
However, there is only such much of that shit a person can take, no matter how immune you have become to that toxic rubbish.
The auction in August, might just be the last of the $$ I spend at the club.
