There is a Subiaco section: you have unfettered ability to post there.

Tony Mc on 91.3 said 17

If Micale said 17, then he can't count. There were 14 West Coast players today.

East Perth had 14 eagles today and won.In round 8 East perth had 13 eagles listed players and lost by 13 points. That extra eagle made all the difference.

Perhaps you might like to provide another post of how injury ravaged your club is.

Compared to SD injury list most clubs have been then 42.....WCEP should only get stronger now Kennedy, Darling are coming back from injury too......Should be a cracking run in to the finals now with 5 clubs competing for spots 4 and 5.....if Perth lose Bennell or Ninyette that could hurt them as SD losing Blakely has hurt their dynamics.....

freezin I have no idea why you think that is of any interest to me. Rest assured it is of no import nor interest to me at all.

With the greatest respect to everybody who has posted on this game since it finished, I am not interested in commenting on East Perth, Subiaco or the alignment. I want to focus on the shambles that was the SDFC league team today. I don't care how many Eagles were in the team. 6 weeks ago we beat a East Perth team that had only one or two less Eagles in it. We did this with a 4 quarter team performance with a ferocious attitude towards the ball and a tackling pressure that gave no East Perth player any space at all. What I saw today was the polar opposite, half hearted efforts, no teamwork, shocking turnovers that gifted East Perth many of their goals. No system going forward. What made it worse is that they served up that rubbish in front of their home supporters. 4 goals in 3 quarters of football is just disgraceful. No excuses from my point of view. We are cooked and I think its time to start rewarding some of the guys in the reserves who are playing with far more spirit and determination than some of their colleagues in the league team. I am just shocked at how quickly Swans have fallen away. After the foundation day weekend we were 5 wins 3 losses and looking good for a finals berth now we are 5 - 8 and looking like a team that can't wait till the end of the season. Adam Pickering and the rest of the coaching staff need to have some honest conversations with some players who I think could be giving a lot more and yes I will name names:
Adam Faulkner, Todd Banfield, Jackson Slater, Alex Howard, Tony Notte and Warwick Wilson are playing well below the level they have previously produced .
I am absolutely gutted with their effort this afternoon. Not quite as bad as 2016 but not far off.
One positive was the debut of young Graydon Wilson who I thought showed a bit under pressure.I felt sorry for Riggio and Turner who tried hard but you could see that the frustration was getting the better of Riggers who gave away a cheap free kick and goal in the 3rd quarter.
I will calm down a bit and try and be a bit more objective in my next post.

I am not the one singling out BC concern about his clubs injury list 42...just making a just comment that Subi's injury list has been far far greater than SD....so well done SD on keeping their injury list to a minimum.....well done SD...think BC like myself would like a rub of that SD magic in regards to injuries this year....hats off to you mate.

Know how you feel mikeh....in Wileys first year EF were 5-3....then won 3 games for the rest of the season to miss out to EP in the final qualifying round....and it's gone downhill from there.....nothing more disheartening for sure....

I have just heard that Todd Banfield has retired. A bit sad to hear that as I thought he still had a lot more to offer even though he has been a bit down on form over the past few weeks. Thanks for all the goals Banners!

Completely agree mikeh. There has been many games where he and Riggio have tried to drag us over the line.

I suspect that he may not be the last retirement between now and the end of the season.
