One player who I didn't mention on my original post was Todd Banfield. He had 17 possession and a gosl but I was particularly impressed with his chasing, tackling and harassing of Perth defenders who were trying to clear the ball. If Todd can stay fit he will be in for a good season I think. Swans had 10 players in their team yesterday who have been on AFL lists at some stage so the core of experience is there that was largely missing in 2016.

Yeh Todds ferocious attack on the ball and the man with the ball was fantastic. Once everyone gels and get more games together we might surprise those who write us off. Its only March 18th so long long way to go.
Perth will be ok for the future too with the young guys they are blooding

Uncharted territory for us Leedy.

up until the end of last season WP led the FKC by about 60 when comparing the differential of frees for opposed to frees against. they were just under 100 in the positive and Claremont were next at 40. a big advantage that's for sure. now I'm sure my very good friend $wan$42m would say it depends where you get them but imo a free gives uncontested possession so it doesn't really matter as far as I'm concerned.
