Obviously both want to play at swans and not the eagles and for less money. Bennell should be pressing for afl selection and is a shadow of the player he was last year. Why is it that Claremont players play well for us.Must be the attitude.

They are forced because they are west coast eagles players.They get paid by the west coast eagles.They have a contract with the eagles not swans They play were the eagles want them to play.They are no longer swan districts players just as Rory Lobb is no longer a swans player.No one is forced to be a Afl player.If they don't want to play afl and want to play for swannies don't nominate for the draft.If you don't want to have aligned clubs it's simple get your board to back both afl clubs to have stand alone teams like south Australia.

My club's board did vote against the alignment rubbish x 2 Chaddy as it also did against the entry of WCE in 86, Fremantle in 94 & Peel in 96 in fact the only club too do so for each case realising the damage it would cause ...and guess what we were unfortunately outnumbered on each occasion and look where WAFL footy is at nowadays!
