I hope that you are right about Rudy but I still think he has a lot to prove. A good game in a 96 point win against very moderation opposition is hardly a launching pad for a stellar career.

The potential may be there but he has to produce similar performances against top four sides for me to be convinced.

I don't think Marcus Adams will shirk an issue if confronted by him !!!

Bring it on I say!! Will be a humdinger of a contest

Yes Sir !

Adams wouldn't be able to keep up!

Ruddy did come off in the last qtr and was in some discomfort with a groin/quad. Hopefully nothing of too much concern.

Pigs arse, Adams is quick for his size, ask Swandog ? On Friday night a South forward who looked very athletic looked like he was standing still when Adams raced past him in a 50m sprint to the goal line to prevent an open goal, he then had time to pick it up and clear the ball away with a 60m kick !

Mate Marcus has some toe but Rudy is able to hold his own in the middle, I don't think Marcus can at WP, Rudy will blitz when we meet yooz on ANZAC Day!

Haha, he will most probably be back in the dags by then :P :P :P

All he needs is the opportunity mate! I would leave him in the team at all times and let him have a free rein as he has a spark that not many have I reckon
Beneath the Southern cross i stand, on Bassendean Oval, can in hand, Swan Districts, you Farkin Beauty!

yep, shouldnt get dropped if he has a bad game this year as he is an x-factor player and whilst he can be inconsistent he gives the team and the crowd a spark, got to take the good with the bad.

Trav was a loyal servant and unfortunately the majority of his time in recent years has been trying to get his body right. He will be playing amateurs with Mt Lawley this year who are now being coached by Garth Taylor.

Anderson arrived at ground halfway through the two's and supported the boys from sidelines...appeared very antsy watching the game which was a positive sign he's looking forward to playing some footy this season.

Rudy couldn't have been more exciting if he tried to. Need to get him playing 4 instead of 2 qtrs this year and he will be a crowd fave at swans for years to come. Heading in the right direction atm. Danny Penny type at speed is what I'm hoping he'll develop in to.

Got to give it up to the club for the new mascot. Absolutely perfect. Half time dancing girls also caught everyone in site's attention. Well done to the club in getting some entertainment and laughs in to the supporter base.

I like that comparison with Danny Penny DW as me & SD we're thinking a cross between Danny & Troy Ugle whilst deciphering the game on Saturday and gee we know Danny & Troy could barrel over opposition players with the best of them!! :)

The skill was there last season; it was a matter of building up his conditioning which he appears to have worked on over the summer. He will be a source of much enjoyment for Swans' supporters and particularly those in the Macca Stand.
