Co- captain last year, veteran player, vocal on- field leader, and most importantly... a true Basso Boy from way back, went to primary school a few hundred metres away from Steel Blue Oval and his folks' house is a few blocks away. I think that should satisfy all the criteria that other clubs supporters have set out for out next captain. Can't get much more local product than that, or *can* you?

You do have to laugh at some hachii i tell ya ..Swans were captained last year by Roberts & Ames good Kalamunda/Lesmurdie & Bassendean boys respectively ..while dogman & freeze's clubs were captained by Ryan Cook SF & Mark McGough EF both interlopers from Victoria who have been in WA a whole 5 minutes & will probably piss off back there once the money dry's up over here!!
