And what a master stroke of a move that was freeze to drop Anderson back from the State 18's as WA barely even looked like scoring a goal vs Vic Country today!
And yet he can kick 3 against an AFL listed defence at Royalties For Regions Park!!
Good to see Connor B back for WA today after the hamstring injury and also Nelson & Firns playing down back.

Freezin I will post the following scenario and see what you have to say. Anderson played for us against a Peel team which had many many AFL aligned players and played reasonably well. I cannot comment on his 18s performance but it would seem that he performed better playing for Swans playing WAFL league compared with playing in the 18s match. Does this mean he played against better players in the 18s match compared with the players who played for Peel on Saturday.

As for the umpires the holding ball decision early in the match against Faulkner compared to other non-decisions later in the match beggar belief.

I really think this fella Pratt hasn't got the WA side on side like what Harding has with SD....also the 18's carnival is about individuals canvassing their own skills for a prospective suitor.....be interested to see if Anderson gets "promoted" for his effort on Sat into the WA u/18 next week........though I do think if Clancee was playing that spare man in defence Anderson wouldn't of kicked 3 goals......more like 6 TBH!

WA juniors must be either the worst coached ever or the worst bunch ever in terms of talent....thank fudge EF only has Cripps and Bennett in the squad.......I'd be interested to see which club/s have the most reps.....because very few will get drafted this year......

as for my answer to your scenario 42, logic suggests if Anderson could kick 3 goals v Peel and none v SA then the WAFL ain't what it used to be in terms of quality....be interested to see how many of those AFL boys in Peels side actually go on and become quality AFL players compared to those SA boys over the next few years.....gotta a feeling a lot of those Peel AFL boys may not be on an AFL list in 2 - 3 years time......touch wood Anderson can show them and Pratt a thing or two when he is drafted by Freo next year!

Peel obviously would of won this game with Clancee playing, sadly Rosco paid heed to 42's alignment bitching and gave Clancee a free flight and front row seating to the Freo/Richmond game.....touch wood Clancee enjoyed his day out for his 2nd club.....no doubt he will back again next week flying the Peel colours.

SD keep on keeping on no matter what the umpires throw at them....can't remember the name of the Basso boy whose mantra that was?...BH perhaps you could enlighten me mate with that crystal clear memory of yours again mate....

I will stay out of that subject freezer ..tieing kangaroos down aint my sport mate! ;)

I was out of town on the weekend so I only saw the final score and was rapt to see that the boys had bounced back. I noticed that the report of the game said that Tim Geappen had come off with a hamstring injury and that it might be torn. Does anyone know how serious the injury is and how long it might keep him out for?. I assume he would have to get a scan early this week. Swoop will be a big loss if he is out for an extended period of time.

Swoop came off in the 3rd qtr with what looked like a hammy.

Thats another good win boys, it was a shit game by all reports but to win by a substantial amount after a tight struggle is just another feather in your cap !

maybe West Perth could clear Krak back to Swans for a week instead of Basso ammos to help with our injuries.

The 0.9 in the first qtr is the equal most points Swans have ever scored in a quarter without kicking a goal, there was also 2 out on the full. Was frustrating listening to it on the radio, must have been worse at the ground.
