We also have guys like Manton, Burnham and Riddoch who have been playing well in ressies and would acquit themselves well if given the chance, so we have got some depth there.

…..

I'm assuming we will lose Anderson and Blakey in the State 18's?
This will give the boys a change to step up.

This year he has been outstanding, I would say that it was a bonus a few older blokes moved on - Hilda, Roach, Hams - as their best footy was past them at the end of last year and the blokes in their place are playing better footy (Boeky, Ugle, Cass).
this has enabled Harding to get blokes to play his style of footy and we are moving the ball longer and quicker. Also think he isnt a great tactics coach but he has got them playing as a team which is more important, the spirit is brilliant..
and whilst is was disappointing blokes like Krak, Spencer, Pullman and Twomey didnt want to play for us its their loss and i'm sure Jukes, Cary, Rogers,Latch and others are happy for the opportunity..

Tactics are overrated mate and we are proving that
Beneath the Southern cross i stand, on Bassendean Oval, can in hand, Swan Districts, you Farkin Beauty!

agreed that they are overrated but our game plan was horrible in 2011, always went short and we had no defensive set-ups when we didnt have the footy and Harding never changed things up when we were losing...
he will need a plan B at some stage this year when we have an off day..

I thought you were having a bit of an off day after quarter time against Perth but you still got up and won. Did he use a plan B that day.

Agree, I think Perth lost that game rather than Swans won it. Perth stopped attacking in the last 10 minutes.

Swan Districts ....... clear & deserved leaders of the league after today

My side had it pretty much 400 times today and couldn't get past the AFL press , the third quarter was pure AFL movement & strangulation
But having said that , my team showed so much heart & guts to keep banging away - even got to within 6 points in the last qtr .... fark this alignment abomination , this is just the beginning of the filth

And fark Mandurah they deserve fark all coz they are fark all - just an AFL spectre ... farken scum
