No excuse though BH looking at the teams. There are still a number of players on that SD list that were up to the job. Who was the coach at the time? Peter Wilson?

Bringing someone new in now would not be beneficial you wouldnt think. Harding knows all the young players and what is going on off the field at the club. Losing that intellectual property now would be a disaster. regardless of critiques from all of us supporters over the years now would be the time to back him in with the kids.

As mentioned on some previous posts there were a handful prior to Christmas a few still there from my mail. Lendich is one, tallish backman who improved to be very solid in A Grade last year. Nuich went last year and played most of the year in Swans Reserves, lots of potential there, see him around Athletic a lot, be good to see him at Swans again.

Monaghan was only a quality and proven coach at 5pm on GF day!! Wasn't rated before then by a lot of WP people including yourself at one point!
Beneath the Southern cross i stand, on Bassendean Oval, can in hand, Swan Districts, you Farkin Beauty!

That is true SD, but you may recall me saying after 3-4 games that there was a different feel about the team, they were playing for each other and had a genuine enthusiasm about there footy, they were more focused when Bill addressed them and a big change in attitude which has to be credited to Bill, regardless the Premiership win !

MacAttack - Nuich played in the league practice game on Friday night and did well, kicking a bit scrappy but is a good size and will play plenty of league footy if he hangs around..
not sure of any other Swan Athletic boys as there was no reserves game beforehand..
