JTT see below a quote from CEO Tom Bottrall in the last Swans news magazine
"There have been a number changes in player personnel which the club are really excited about. From these departures, our coach Greg Harding has presented our young, local districts players the opportunities in the league team for the start of 2014.
The fact of it all is that not one of the senior players that have departed are home grown Swan Districts players. Given that we won’t be recruiting from outside of our zone in 2014, you are sure to see another batch of young men from the Swans District become regular league players in 2014"

Harding said something similar in his pre christmas blurb so I wouldn't hold your breath for any new recruits. This "local player development" focus is probably borne out of necessity given Swans financial position.

Not sure what you mean there but from their statements it appears pretty clear to me that Swans are not going to recruit anyone from outside their zone in 2014. Are you implying there may be more to it than that?

Begs the question with this player exodus we are having is it totally motivated by lack of money available or are some of these senior boys that have left completely disillusioned with Harding.

JTT, watch this space mate, Im not wrong on this one. He will remain a line coach but play with Wes Lambie @ whatever club he plays at, there may be a slim chance that Swans could change his mind but at this very minute he has decided not to play.
