yep, our most influential player.
wins the footy, kicks to advantage and usually chips in with a goal or 2.

So the injuries would be Hampson, Clarke, Costigan and one other ( anyone know who?) I noticed that Doc looked a bit proppy late in the game.
A complicating factor is that the reserves had a bye last week so anyone picked from that team would only have had one game in a month taking into account the team bye in round 4 as well. They may be tempted to blood a few colts boys which would be a good move I think.

George is your big out BH.

Yes Roman George is probably one of the classiest players at WAFL level so very hard to replace but Noble's mobility & strong marking in attack and Clarke's run and penetrating left foot from defence will be sorely missed as well.

Where are you lot taking me when we overcome the injuries this week and win again? I hear Rockpool is the place for steak dinners.

You said SD would win their last 4 games...that was the bet...not 1 or 2 wins!

Grump wrote: BH and Mikeh I suspect (or know) that FF is not a fashionable position for many coaches and kids, they want to be the bigger mobile player that can play all over the ground albeit not always that well.

We need to encourage players to develop into FF's like McDonald at perth and a kid at EP Amiss who looks like he could develop nicely.

You are unfortunately right Grump, key forward positions have been made redundant under modern coaches...much to my despise!

So its four out including Noble suspended with Hampson, Costigan and Clarke injured. I assume Swans didnt challenge the 2 weeks for Noble so he will be back for the last game at Shark Park.
8 players on the bench at this stage including Tarir Bayok against his old side. East Perth look pretty strong and they get Dobson back. They have been solid apart from the 2nd half fade out against Claremont and a victory will keep their faint finals hopes alive.
Leederville is not a happy hunting ground for Swans lately with only 2 wins out of their last 13 matches there although many of these losses have been against Subiaco, we have been more competitive against the Royals and I hope that continues on Saturday.

You can bend the truth as much as that positive laddy TRSM Beasley. You must reflect upon my comment. I said we would win 3 or our last 4 injury permitting. I still think we will to by the way. Just not by the margin I first thought.God bless or swans boys and I’ll be there in the shade of the Loftus center cheering for my boys.

Low point of the season for Swans. That was an abysmal performance. No other word for it. One quarter of decent effort, complete lack of skills, overuse of hand ball inability to put together any passages of play. East Perth were not great either but we made them look like flag contenders. Such a frustrating day. Mediocrity seems to be the culture at Swans and nothing seems to be changing. They are making the same basic errors every week.

How bad was our kicking, our blokes continually can’t hit basic targets under no pressure.
Tackle pressure and effort lifted after 1/4 time but needed to make the most of the breeze in the 1st quarter
No idea why blokes who can’t kick keep getting games.
