Thanks Bease -- what is wrong with Wilson? We recruited him once, if I remember it correctly, he should be more grateful to WA.

What a piss weak performance today by WA being absolutely smashed by the NSW 2nd XI at Drummoyne Oval by 77 runs.
WA at full strength bar an injured Ashton Turner were torn a new one by a NSW side missing-

Steve Smith
David Warner
Kurtis Patterson
Pat Cummins
Mitchell Starc
Nathan Lyon
Josh Hazlewood (all rested)
Steve o'Keefe (injured)

From the NSW side that played today only Daniel Hughes, Moises Henriques, Peter Nevill, Sean Abbott & possibly Harry Conway would even get a look in if all were available.
If NSW were at full strength they would have embarrassed these serial underperforming imposters from the WACA!

Underperforming imposters?? Last time I checked they were 3-1 in this competition. Yes they had a bad day today but really they were mostly undone by a brilliant innings from Hughes.Far better to put in a shocker in the qualifying round than in the semi final which is what happened last year. Lets see how they respond in the next game.

while I am Western Australian through and through we were lucky to beat NSW last time we met a few days ago I can't understand how we scored 210 from 35 overs and NSW had to score 241 from the same amount of overs this Duckworth Lewis system is stupid can anyone explain how it works

Good to see Cartwright score a 70 odd....good selection that from Voges...LOL

what is this fascination of batting Mitch Marsh top 5?....he has proven time and time again he isn't top 5 material....hardly even top 6....never going to bat there for Aust....bat him 7 and leave the batting to the recognised batsmen...

Mike please the fact is WA has well underachieved for 20 odd years now, in this tournament so far we played the first 2 games at home against VIC & TAS who were not at full strength (no Ashes tourists- Harris, Pattinson, Siddle, Paine & Wade) and then the 3rd game on Monday NSW 2nd XI easily outscored us but only lost on DLS. Yesterday was nothing short of embarrassing against NSW 2nd XI.

Spot on Freeze he is a bowling all rounder everyone bar the WA/AUST selectors can see that for some reason, he should bat at 7 or 8 only!

yep, bat him at 7 at best - he is the new breed in cricket, a fielding all-rounder. He fields well and bowls and bats a bit.

ooli -- that is very good -- I agree with all the posts on where MR Marsh should bat and bowl in the side, if at all.
