I guess after 20 years with no premiership and last finals was a Prelim in 2014.....something needed to be done, more so after the Wiley years to. Monaghan turned over the list last year most likely on input from those at the club....atleast this year he has had 12 months under his belt to work out who and what he needed off his own accord. No doubt still a fine tuning work in progress, but at least those players staying have a better understanding of game plan and on/off field expectations.

Interesting that the likes of a Ninyette and Leggett are still seeking out of Perth, at a time where the club seems to be moving positively forward on and off the park. Would of thought now would be the time to stay put to see where the new direction is taking the PFC after years of stagnation.

Gonna be exciting times for all concerned at both clubs.

Seems you need Leggett to get a team on the park. The number of outs is staggering and questions will be raised if the club doesn't fire in 2020

If there's a player out, someone else comes in! Just because the club hasn't named the players (like Perth have) that aren't pushing for League spots- doesn't mean they're not there.

Off the top of my head, only Hebiton played more than 10 games in 2019, a few of those others (Adamini, Cuneo, Harold ect) have been around for 3-5 years and haven't solidified their spot. Move them on and bring in the next bunch.

Yep definitely scratching my head with that astro comment....I'd be concerned if 3 or 4 of those 10 outs were say a Strnadica, Eardley, Boekhorst etc....but as pointed out they have been fringe players for the last 3-4 years when EF have finished bottom 3 during that time....whilst Perham and Henson were great servants to the club, both definitely had played their best footy and had little or no upside left in the tank....Riach and Tucker both young and keen to get themselves back on an AFL list....decent heights and mobility too.

Others looking for some league footy will be youngsters in Davidson, Jai Jackson, Ritchie, Curley, Garlett, McGuire, Trefy etc

I tried to get in Freezin but I was stopped in my tracks by the new doorman (shit I thought that was your job.... Oh that's right ur the Subiaco doorman). Anyway this new bloke working as the doorman apparently doubles as a handy barman, poors a good brew I'm told from his days behind the bar at Franklin's Tavern. Hopefully he's got a booming left (oops right foot) I'm confused, and lives just down the road.

But harsh there DD on Popsicle Bill mate....especially since the fella is an ex premiership coach and even got WP into a GF in 2018 with a negative bank balance....unlike Spalding who can't even get his side top 5 despite being flushed with money..I'd hate to see what popsicle you think the Duke is DD.LOL...
