Ted you may be right mate...but hindsight suggests those fella's made the right decision moving to Subi from Perth.....as did Read, Chick, Menagola and Marsh from EF....it's life I guess....memories are created through winning flags not winning spoons...pretty sure they don't have any wooden spoon reunions, only premiership reunions....but happy to be corrected other wise tho

Playing in premierships would have more than likely played a role in some making a decision to go to/stay at Subiaco.
Pretty sure there is no such thing as a remuneration reunion - just like there is no wooden spoon reunion (if there was Georgy would be the key note speaker).
The 'right' decision moving to Subiaco was not purely based off the winning flags bit. Would/may have played a role for some, but however you want to paint it no one is articulate enough to convince me that remuneration wasn't a huge part of it.

Oooll...completely agree with you that remuneration would of had a say...because money talks....and with 58 that Subi success has been benefited ten fold with a big bank balance. Never indicated other wise, just trying to see all sides to Subi's ongoing success, just don't think EF ongoing failures is purely down to lack of money, pretty sure we have recruited better than most of late....Watson, Marsh, Griffen, Kommer, Jansen, Snadden, Strnadica Loersch and Boekhorst all out of the elite environment....wouldn't of come cheap either.....yet EF have been deplorable at times...many times in fact.....why?

Pre season training I believe starts today or definitely this week...be interested to see who is out there on the track....read somewhere Tucker, Z Jackson and 2 others are on modified programs.....

Jupp and Kommer were the other two boys on modified programs....think Kommer is forever on a modified program.

Anyone catch training last night?

Heard a low key 2 km time trial mate....but windy from all reports....Creasey and Cuneo off to play country footy.....Cuneo you can't blame as he has had limited opportunities over the last few years...Creasey as folk have said has some talent thus disappointing to lose him.....Murdock won the trial I believe.....

Bill Monaghan was on 91.3 yesterday and mentioned Stokes as an out- said he was trying to be an NFL punter!! Also confirmed Chris Scott- be interesting to see if he continues in the WAFL environment- looked a likely type- AFL interest at one stage. Be a shame to see him not have a decent crack at it

The real question is, what was Cody Leggett’s 2km time??
