Obviously a bigger game for Perth than EF.....always hate playing Perth with their plethora of dangerous small to medium indigenous forwards.....Stack always kicked a few v EF....Bennell last year kicked 7....Ninja loves playing EF....pretty sure Roe or Hansen kicked a few last match....have no fears of Perths ruck or tall men brigade.....both midfields look pretty even...tho EF will miss Kommer out injured...should be a close affair....the reserves game should be a cracker too.....Perth need to win to cement and keep their finals aspirations alive in both the league and reserves respectively.....EF reserves last home n away game....need a win to definitely sew up a finals spot.....colts game is a dead rubber....

Freeze, what happened to Eardley's report?

Not sure on the Eardley report but would be a huge out.
Be interesting game as all to play for Perth and not much on the line for EF. All was on 91.3 and stressed how important it was to finish the year well- how the players attack it will be the key. On paper, we have a side that should trouble Perth- a dominant Ruck and a big key forward. Would've been handy if Loersch was in. Ulitmately, this game will be won in the Midfield- where both teams are reasonably strong. Kommer out is a loss. Not sure who replaces him but Adamini has been in and out and in good form in the Ressies.
Will Bill get a look at some other young players? Luke Jackson, Chad Warner and Trent River have been in good form in the Colts, Davidson, Creasey, Robinson, Watson and co in the Ressies.

Yep huge out if number 7 is out....gotta feeling some of those boys may get a run in the WCE game esp with only the league playing....and the reserves boys resting before the finals KC....if they get in.

Warner first year at EF...hard inside mid with quick hands....could play with Kommer out....looked good at the carnival though a touch slow across the ground....might impede his AFL aspirations perhaps....hope not tho.

Form would have to favour EF. Since the first 5 games, EF have won 5/10 with 88%. Perth 3/10, 76%. With the small forwards Freeze mentioned, Ninyette hasn't kicked a goal in the last 3 games, Roe has kicked 1 in each of the last 3 and Bennell went goalless in the only game he played. I doubt Bennell will play on Saturday.

Stack did nothing all year till he played EF...then would kick 5!..LOL
Thus Ninja is due a bag mate....whilst Spalding has nothing to lose letting Bennell loose then...he is due too....time will tell I guess....

Warner and Luke Jackson listed in the budget....can see the former playing more then the latter..but the latter will play AFL next year...or at least WAFL if he goes to WCE or Peel....or VFL if he goes to Melbourne...so why not now?

The reserves need the win too so be interesting how the club plays it....

As one Perth member has told me, Earl Spalding has never beaten a Bill Monaghan coached side. That’s a pretty embarrassing stat I’m sure Spalding would want to erase and probably makes the Bill Monaghan coached Sharks clear favourites.
