Masten has been delisted. He is hoping to get picked up by another club - East Freo could certainly use him, as he has been playing WAFL standard football for most of his career.

Be surprised to see him at the Sharks Jack, looks as though he’s looking for an AFL gig. IF he comes back to the WAFL, your beloved brown paper baggers will get him.

It was bad enough watching him spill marks, miss tackles and kick to the opposition year after year with the Eagles.

For me, he is the WCE version of Shaun McManus - HTF did either of them get to 200 games.

Going on delisting and retirements alone EF have 1 pt players in Sandilands, Fasolo and Masten....with perhaps Paparone available post injury available....if Geelong get done or even win the flag....read somewhere Harry Taylor is contemplating about whether or not to retire....out of that group Taylor and Paparone would be tall defender slash forwards...with Fasolo as a goal kicking small forward....

can't see the need for Sandilands with Griffen, Strnadica and Loersch already at the club....but geez a season from 211 would cause some defender marking issues for opposition teams....not fussed about Masten, bit too vanilla for my liking...

Hopefully those bloke you mention freeze, have been in the AFL system long enough to amass a reasonable treasure chest and won’t go knocking on Subis door looking for money.

Cheers strono...good to see the club getting proactive and early...at 189cm and two AFL preseasons under his belt he should be ready to offer Monaghan some versatility across the field....EFFC becoming a destination club for ex Peel boys....is that a good thing?...LOL.....
