Obviously disappointing to lose as EF did v WCE, tho would like to think that was probably the best line up WCE will put out this year, with only 1 or 2 non WCE listed player playing....always interesting to see how a couple of class players can lift the efforts of those around them....but yeah 4 goals ain't a good look when the footy has gone inside your own 50 40 odd times.....2.6 in the last didn't help either.

A new week this week, Cl are a very good unit, disposed of an EP side score wise as EF had done a few weeks back....so gives hope on form EF can push Cl this weekend. Hopefully Loersch will be back after missing, with his kicking boots on. Noticed on the injury hub list some long term boys in LesterSmith, Ritchie and Meade are not far away and will bolster EF playing depth. Cl mids are the key to their success, so hopefully the likes of Boekhorst and Kommer (who both missed Cl round 1) will help EF midfield to counter the likes of Bolton, Mitchell, Mountford et al....tho the likes of Richardson, Lee etc up front will definitely test EF defence. Need a win here to keep EF interest in sneaking 5th spot, tho a tall order one would think.

Good to see young Ryan find the scoreboard(only EF player who did) v WCE, need regular goals from the youngster each week TBH...be interesting to see if Monaghan rings any changes after the 70 + loss last weekend, or just ticks it off as being one of the anomalies of playing on of the AFL teams in this comp.....sometimes sides will get lucky on the selection depending on WCE availability and other sides not so lucky....Can't see NN and Barrass playing again....tho would be a good test v SF this weekend if they did.

I'm not reading too much into the WCE game- that team would beat any other WAFL side. At the end of the day, 4 points lost only- EF has a poor percentage and is unlikely to catch up there. Though finals are a possibility- I can't see how we would go from last to a finals side, especially with the outs before the season started and losing Schofield half way through.

Claremont thrashed us in Round 1 and I think we'll get a good gauge of our improvement this week.

Barring injuries I can't see the line up changing apart from Bonomelli making way for Loersch.

Bolton unlikely to play due to concussion.

What is the deal with Loersch playing in the reserves....is it a disciplinary decision.....kicked 2.6 v EP before missing out v WCE....good to LesterSmith lining up in the reserves, along with Meade too....both boys been out since the preseason with injury.

And why did Loersch not play against West Coast last Saturday? Disappointing to hear Loersch is playing two's tomorrow but still Bonomelli gets another chance - hopefully he has a good game. He certainly likes to present leads which is not a bad thing. Loersch can sometimes be a little static which results in the team putting the ball on his head which is a little predictable. James Harrold must be close to recall to the league side too but can't see any change to the side thumped last weekend.

Interesting decision on Loersch. He's been disappointing this year but looked like he turned the corner against EP. Not sure why he missed V WCE, Ti Em. Bonomelli needs an extended run- but not sure he's anywhere near Loersch, talent wise.

Exactly - which justs makes it all the more strange. The one hundreth league game for the blue and whites by a player who gives his all week in week out should provide a little more impetus tomorrow. Hopefully the boys mark the occasion fittingly. Well done Cam Eardley.

I don't know, but perhaps it maybe attitude and culture wise rather than talent wise.
