3-1 post state game....great last month....the skipper has been instrumental in this winning streak since coming back from injury....if Loersch and Strnadica can hit the scoreboard more, reckon EF may trouble a few sides above them...

You guys have definitely turned the corner. I saw the first game you won at Bassendean and I thought then that EF were pretty impressive. Jon Griffin was massive that day ( literally and figuratively) and will obviously be a key player for the rest of the season. No reason why you couldn't sneak into 5th position and a final. Would be a great comeback from the depths of last year.

Well done to your teams, I saw not much of the three games but was told you were just better at it, well done!

The extra points in the cap seem to have helped EF & Perth on the field since they were introduced last season.
It would be interesting to hear from the WAFC why SD havent received any concessions considering we have been either last or second last in 3 of the last 4 seasons?
EF actually played in a GF in 2012 and a PF in only 2014 whilst we last played in those particular games in 2010 & 2012 respectively!

BH, Perth do have a points concession. However, the WAFL review into why we have failed for so long recommended that we focus on promoting home grown players rather than recruiting. That would seem to contradict the points concession, and that is evidenced by the fact that we have used only 89 points out of a possible 130. Subi, by contrast, have on my calculation, used 116 out of 120. It's all well and good having extra points but if you don't have the money to attract the high points players, any advantage is illusory. I have no problem with SD being granted concessions, but having an extra points cap and actually recruiting high point players are two very different things.

There is no easy way to try and equalise the comp but what the wafl have come up with is embarrassingly inadequate. A few points here and there to overcome zones and cash, nah.

Is there any truth to the rumour that the Sharks are having financial problems and are looking for a buyer. Hence they could be looking to align with Fremantle.

Straight out of Trump’s school of fake news. Clearly you need to find a distraction after your lowest score last Saturday since 1908!

Just asking the question Custodian. As I said only a rumour but if you say it's not true then I'll take your word for it.
