Sure, we’re going through a shit storm and I have been voicing my displeasure, but there is a is a limit. You might be happy going to smith park on a Sunday morning to watch us play, but that’s not for me. Mate, if you feel that bad, I’m sure BC will send you a Subi membership form.

The club has such a proud history and with the right people in charge will recover from this period. Loyal members and supporters need to stick fat with them though this and make the board and management accountable for their actions like you have obviously been doing 58shark. I have been reflecting on my own membership of Swans based on my general disillusion about the state of the WAFL competition and have concluded that I cannot desert Swans now particularly given their financial plight and the fact that they have provided so many great moments in the time that I have been a member including 5 premierships. I think the passionate EF fans need to stay strong as well during these tough times but also ask some hard questions about the direction of their club.

Exactly right mike. Despite my whinging and criticisms, I am and will always be a passionate EF member and supporter as will all the other guys here. You simply can’t throw away 60+ years of passionate support because we are doing it tough. All we can do is hope the board know which way is up and the players grow a set of nuts for the club.

If the board had any sense they could have had a financial windfall on Saturday. I couldn’t believe the line in this game was -17.5. Absolute gift.

Missed that one Rookie. Would have solved some off field problems at least.....Our Leaders are leading us in to oblivion ... yes, the club will survive, but so much damage been done that didn’t have to occur. Good leaders make the right choices the majority of the time......

Yep, WAFC have been emergency subsidising Effc football department for a couple of years now. So financial reporting has not been totally up front.

Oh well if we are wrong we will just have to accept that the pin heads involved have wasted club only funds then. I feel much better!

I believe Wiley was supposed to be funded partially by WCE at the start of his contract as he was to do some part time work fir them, but it never eventuated. I have also been told the club has never applied for any emergency funding from WAFC. BUT, they can go to influential supporters and raise $40,000 and waste it on so called high profile recruits, who have returned bugger all. Hopefully at tax time they can claim it as a loss ,,,
