Ellis - acl
Locantro - retired
Ricardello

All gone- all played League footy. By no means A-Graders but a fair bit of depth

You obviously rate the highly paid Watson and Crichton. Some interesting stats researched. Ellis in 2015 as forward played 14 league games in a struggling side and kicked 20.17 at league level and another 17.11 from 5 ressie games. Watson 20 league games for 21.16 in a much better performed side in 2016. Schleicher 83 disposals from 4 league games and another 428 disposals in ressies this season. Crichton 20 league games for a total of 261 for the season. Don't agree with your comments on who you think are up to it or not. Ellis acl done in July and am told won't play in 2017.

Spoke with Ellis' uncle yesterday who said he was doing his rehab and hoped he would play later in the season.

Stats only tell part of what a player does.
Yes Watson was disappointing but did show he is capable of much better. He also was double teamed many times which makes life tough for any footballer.
Crichton was used as a tagger so stats generally don't apply. Classic example was Foundation Day against SF at Freo oval where he tagged Hams and completely nullified him - Jesse only had 3 disposals.

I think Ellis schleicher locantro and green could all be very capable leauge players. As usual the inexperienced often become the fall guys when teams lose. Green and Scleicher are two that have served the club well at colts ressies level for a long time for not much reward, mayby they are taking the country dollars on offer. Thanks and Good luck to them.

Omodei more than matches Schleicher stat wise, limited opportunies at EP due to the WCE queue...thus seems like a more than capable replacement......yeah Watson struggled at times but wasnt he used in the ruck a fair bit of the time?.....with Symonds back hopefully Watson can be freed up and get some help height wise up front and ruck less perhaps.....touch wood Mirco can deliver and provide a target up front as well, kicked 40 for SF reserves in 2016 and didnt play league due to Saunders, Shaw and Johnson kicking goals most week for SF.....hopefully ex Peel tall Westwood can replace Solomon in terms of ruck depth.

Losing Green is the biggest loss in my opinion, seemed to find his niche as a goal kicking small forward in 16, not too sure Peake can repeat his 40 goal effort again....be nice though. Hopefully Perry can develop his goal kicking game, Hampson can stay fit, even get more forward time out of BOB.....if Hawksley does sign on, perhaps he could be an option? State under 18 boy Ryan showed some goalkicking flair at times, could be a roughie to step up....dont know much about Fahey from Peel either but who knows......Morabito would be handy if Wiley can convince to sign on.

Looks like we're the Peel dumping ground!

James Bristow leaving would be a massive blow. Thornton and Hawksley could be handy.
