yeah true BH...wish I could say the same about EF being monty's to win the wooden spoon though mate....think you guys have got that prize all wrapped up .....

though wouldn't surprise me in the slightest if SDFC appeal on the grounds of "too many injuries" .....thus meaning Cl or Perth could be in the running now.....

Yep no fun in finishing last Freeze but at the end of the day there can only ever be one winner in every season.
One thing having a season like ours which was pretty much over only 2 months in is you get to look to the future (2017-) and make decisions based around that whereas others still in survival mode only look at the short term of a week at a time and arent allowed or even want the luxury of development over wins or limiting the damage!
As one wise old owl always remarks touchwood we have a bit more luck with injuries next season although that is just one part of many that need fixing for my mob on the park!

BH who knows what each year will throw up....though teams with money or freebie players will always be one step ahead of the opposition.....look at SF they got a bunch of ex locals back at once from the AFL and have have neverlooked back....seems like SD could b the same next year with Ellard, Newman maybe Pearce and Gault, plus a fit Taylor and Crowley.....you guys will be sweet next year, I am just making the most of SD miserable season before it changes.....

.as for EF development, well true no colts boys have played this year but Adamini, Harrold, Perry and Marshall played colts last year and have been exposed to some league footy this year....plus other 20 -22 yr old mid tier boys in Jacob Green, Franklin Cuneo and Dion Anthony have played some good footy this year....and Schleicher of recent too....whilst .newbie Winton is only young who will hopefully develop up back for EF and Solomon/Stokes in the ruck.....thought 2015 state 18 boys in Bennet, Parish and Cronan would of come on more, but only early days ...

Whose to say EF will get back next year from the AFL or who they will recruit from outside....from the colts this year Strnadica and Zurhaar sem likely to get drafted...whilst likely types appear to be Baskerville, Ryan, Holmes, Burton, Meade and Kleppe.....obviously these boys arent Waterman, Logue, Petreveski Seton types but hopefully 100 gamers for the club in the future....too many find other distractions and leave sadly.....all part of footy I guess.
