Very happy to take the points in the league. Disappointing from the colts & ressies though.

Enjoyed the win today, though when EP kicked the first 4 I thought it was gonna be a looong day....Wileys address at 1/4 time was spot and the team responded well.....also a few choice words from Matera were spot on as well...pity about Simpson, hopefully he responds in the right manner.....time will I guess.

Grassy EF colts played finals last year and pretty sure when Cripps played in 2013......they just look very small and the skill level is limited by hand and foot to say the least.....some talent there but will be working very hard to play finals.....

a good win to the blue and whites, one that made pleasant afternoon viewing. After quarter time too, there was some impressive long kicking to position, which, for me, at least, was refreshing to see. In addition there was some quite strong high marks at both ends of the ground, something which is promising for the rest of the season.

Good stats for East Fremantle in the match too.
In the First ½ their Disposals per scoring shots is 14 and in the Second Half improved to 12.3 Disposals. Disposals per Goal being 30 in the First half and then slightly better at 27 in the Second Half. Before half time the offence rate was 24% and in the Second half was cranked up to 26.9%
Yet in the 2nd ½ East Fremantle had far less of the Ball Disposals compared to the opposition.
A good win by East Fremantle yesterday. Just goes to show, a team doesn't need a trillion ball possessions to win a footy match.

14 tackles by 13 eagles players with 245 possessions and 60 marks. Bruise free footy at its best.

What happened with Simpson? I never heard anything in the traps.

Another good thing was that the umps didn't blow the whistle and halt play every time someone farted. Tell the AFL boys that calling "play on" is allowed!!

East Freo's a good club in that Competition,but something hasn't been right in the past few years.

I thought the last couple of years might have been cyclical,like you have a downer once in a blue moon.But I thought this year,you guys might be heading back up the Colts Ladder.Still time yet,but the start hasn't been great.

eardley's best game ive seen for the sharks and he has played a lot of good ones

one noticeable point on the day was the lack of ep member numbers around their club...I even went inside to get some lunch and the bar was empty
seems the ep/eagle target of 2000 members is a long long way off
