Any win is a good win, but it doesn't get any easier the further the season goes. Just hope today wasn't a honeymoon.

Team effort says it all, we had no run, couldn't get hold of the ball and down 2 on the bench early in 1st term made it difficult from there on. East Fremantle grabbed the initiative, seized the day and congratulations to them

Great start to the season by the boys.....as you say 58, very early days into the year, but this year I reckon the comp will be super tight and any win is a good win. TBH though if EF want to play finals beating sides like SD should be expected and vice versa for SD.

Good spread of goal kickers from all reports, kudos to the EF defence for restricting SD as well on paper EF looked small compared to SD forward line......how did Watson go?....I guess his mere presence and size will help other EF forwards in Perham, Bristow etc to get amongst the action. Great to see Harrold amongst the action as well.....hopefully the likes of Perry, Bennett, Fowler and Parish will see some league action during the year.

Interesting to see Peake listed as playing well, he cops a lot of criticism from sharks fans. Have been discussing with a mate the value of Peake returning this year. What did you fellas think of his game?

Hi freeze. It's obvious I'm nowhere near a footy guru, but I though Watson was better than 1 goal. The SD backs were very respectful of him and his size which released a bit of pressure on others. Eardley and co had a party. Hope they keep it up. Be interesting to see how we go against peelmantle.

Obviously his experience is handy.....I think playing along side Hampson he will be a good foil, as long as one of them has a day out things will be productive on the scoreboard....would of preferred Duffy though....purely from a age and longevity perspective, but hey if Peake kicks another 40 odd I won't be complaining.
