very disappointing to hear if true about McGough......that 4 goal burst by EP in 5 min in the opening 1/4 proved to be the difference in the end......5 losses is doom and gloom on paper but can be easily turned around as 5/2 can be!....its a great comp, gonna be tough turning it around but EF need to dig deep have faith and show some fight like SF did in the derby and SD youngsters do......sounds like Dodd has the nous and temperament to do so.....just gotta hope the players have the ability to do so ;)

I know the day sounded wet be interested to see what Dodd does with a few of the regulars, reckon Barone could be getting a debut next week, hopefully Stephen will be back, will need him for Bradshaw or Richardson....Cl bigger bodies will definitely stretch EF defence......not too sure who goes forward......does EF have any genuine goal kicking targets, just seems to be a lot of mids popping up here and there each week with a goal or 2....how did Fletcher go v Johnson.....got Seaby and Andrews next game, good exposure for the youngster, hope Dodd leaves him to get on with it for the rest of the season.

The undermanned reserves team got another belting, so many names popping up who werent even on the clubs original list at the start of the season.....4 colts aged played I see, can see a few more getting a go post state carnival too, especially if the likes of Stokes, Regan, Edwards, Lyndsay, Howson et al remain injured, not big names overall in the WAFL but important depth wise in the club....hard to guage who else is not out there when the club cant be arsed to give an updated injury list.

The colts keeping performing, big Luke keeps kicking bags and more importantly with accuracy too!.....obviousy great to see the 4 goal debut by 16yr old tall forward in Rodgers as well......gonna be tight for spots in a few weekspost carnival, hopefully a the club can do what SD and SF do and promote a few for exposure, better doing that then playing some of the currents reserve fill ins who seem to struggle getting their hands on the footy and wont be there most likely next year.......bring on the bye EF need it farkin big time to regroup!

Freezin while questioning about forwards how was Ellis left out of that game after kicking 8 goals in 2 games in the ressies? Was left hanging yesterday in a game where Franklin would not have got his hands on it up front, instead Dorotich goes forward which lasted all of about 10mins into the first quarter. Perham was brought straight back but had no real goal kicking form before the week he had out. With Bristow out yesterday it was a predictable score line to be honest.

Don't really share your view we can turn it around and win enough games to make finals this year. Plus 1 posted here that Dodd and the club should be looking to expose and develop for 2016 which is probably a fair call. Yes we will continue to lose more than win but at least the losses will still have some positives by exposing those players who have a senior level future.

Think that young players also need to know they will get those opportunities at the club which may have not been a top priority in recent years, if not some players may seek an opportunity else where like Troppo has done at Perth.

observer....bit of a difference saying hope they can turn it around and saying they will turn it around mate....no point playing out the year if you aren't aiming for a finals spot, especially since EF are 2 wins behind 2nd spot.....

fark I got hammered on here a while back when EF were travelling at 5/2 that it would be great to see a few of those state boys at least getting some league time before the year is out.....if Perry can kick 3 on debut I reckon the likes of Harrold, Snadden and Bennett could atleast add some exhuberance and run to the side.....reckon there are others in the colts who would do ok......

I would love to see Barone play instead of someone like Boyle....even give Dion Anthony an extended run just to change things up.....totally agree about Ellis, he should of played over Perham, instead sounds like he was starved of opportunities in the reserves due to EF apparent lack of depth in the reserves(due to injuries) at present getting the ball in the forward line enough.....christ I'd be even giving Luke Strnadica a look in before the season is out......at least the kid kicks straight from a set shot!!

it's a pity the likes of Stokes, Piggot and Howson are out injured, all three with their height and with more footy under their belts this year, could be groomed up front or back from now on with 2016 in mind.....still time for all 3, but the latter two especially have missed a shed load of footy this year already.

Tropiano was in a long queue of some decent mids during his time at EF, which has been an area of EF strength the last few years.....good on the kid stepping up and doing well at Perth......
