Another derby is upon us, should be another classic hard fought contest. SF will be eager to maintain their winning streak over EF at Moss St. With only Anthony involved in the state game, it was a good opportunity for a few fellas to rest and recharge their batteries. Hopefully EF will have MacNamara, Dalziell, Stephen and Bristow back on board, BOB and ROB, whilst unfortunate to not play for WA definitely needed some rest for the next few games.

Pretty sure EF through their senior grades should have a lot more folk to call upon, the development side will benefit from having the likes of Barone,Regan, Stokes,Cripps, Edwards, Lyndsay and Strnadica back on the park, along with 4 guys from the league side to make way for those 4 guys above returning from injury, plus more game time in the likes of Howson and Solomon. First time hopefully EF will have a full squad running around. The colts might have a few guys back from state duties, considering only two out of 8 guys in squad played v SA last weekend...from all reports young Strnadica will hopefully get a run along side Bennett and Harrold.....not too sure about Snadden, Parish, Zurhaar, Cronan and Delaney chances of breaking into that winning WA side.....great to see EF colts step up with 2 wins without those 8 being available.

Tough games for all three grades, the league game will definitely be anyones game, whilst EF reserves were shock winners of top of the table SF side last time and the colts will be keen to atone for their derby loss v SF last time they met. Be interested to see, if everyone is fit and firing, who makes way for the derby.....4 changes are a lot to make, can't see Locantro making way for anyone as he has done well so far......any possible names under the pump for a bit of reserves footy from the side that lost to WP?....Cuneo?..Dorotich?...Hooker?....Perham?.....

You can add Crisafio onto that list as well freeze. Unfortunately Barone has a fractured eye socket; Edwards has osteo pubis and Regan has a knee which may be season ending. Not sure Dalziell will be right yet either. Cuneo would be the one that may make room IMO.

Snadden should be a certain starter in the 18's unless he's injured which I believe Parish has been. With a squad of 40 in the 18's they will rotate so all should get their opportunities at same stage of the carnival.

that's a pity for those lads especially Barone who has done well post a year off with an ACL injury. Just assumed Dalziell would be right to go from what I have read on the internet, reckon getting Stephen back in is EF main priority. Could have Josh Simpson back from all reports, saying that though the fella seems to be doing great guns in the GNFL and perhaps seeing the year out may be a good thing for Simpson long term on and off the footy field. His speed and xfactor would be handy for sure, but not the main priority TBH.....glad to hear he seems to be turning things around up in Mullewa.

naagh don't think so DG.....Jarryd Lyndsay is EF reserves captain from memory, about 180cm midfielder type....The Rock is probably the better person for more details.

Great ins and think Cuneo, Hooker & Schleicher will miss out.

That was brilliant for 7 to put that piece on Today Tonight.

On paper we should win easily, but it is a derby. :pinch:
