.....if Kerr does suit up for EF he might spend a bit of time in a FP....if Peake can kick 40 odd goals, than surely Daniel would be good for at least 50 goals?.......

pretty good midfield EF would have with ROB, McGough, Kerr, Anthony, Kerr and Dalziell.....though a tad slow....reminds me of that 1985/86 midfield of Wrensted, Peake, Neesham and Green....not the fastest but definitely all natural ball winners, who picked up a shed load of the footy.....now all EF need is a Bennett, Lockyer or Browning up front to capitalise on all those inside 50 entries.......

I think we'll all be very happy as wafl supporters IF Kerr plays for East freo or anyone but it won't stop any of us from targeting him for some friendly advice, just like everyone will with Tom swift. It's all part of the fun.

Whilst I agree with your sentiments here 58 I really hope for EF's sake that he has turned a corner in his life. WAFL footy doesn't need exposure to drug culture if it is going to have any chance of securing sponsorships let alone survival. From what I saw with my own eyes 2 months ago Daniel is both physically and mentally a long way from being in a satisfactory condition to play footy. Whilst it is great that EF or any club for that matter stick by a favourite son thru thick or thin, in this particular circumstance I would implore your club to be extremely vigilant. It may only take one setback with his injury prone body for him to return to some old well versed bad habits. I'm sure a calculated risk by your footy club so I really hope adequate support staff are in place if plan A suffers a setback or two. Don't get me wrong here either I'm a fan of Daniel Kerr and I was honestly shocked to see the state he was in not so long ago now. Lets hope footy helps in the mean time whilst he searches for a more permanent salvation from some of his personal demons.

Mr Kerr as mentioned here has a long journey to make and is a way away from the rigours of compettitve footy at this time.

While I begrudge no-one of the opportunity to bring their lives to order, and D Kerr has abilities that I am sure would make for entertaining spectating at the footy, but with his best years 'behind him' and an ego in its AFL lofty seat, Kerr has shown he has a streak in him thats for from being the boyish charm he displays fior the camera

It smacks more of the hidden man that has of late appeared before us ...

If he indeed runs the fieled again, I have a suggestiion that the tribunal will see him sooner than not - with several players feeling his behind play antics through the season.
I also suggest 'HE' may also feel the welcome of several players who will not stand for his outside the rules bullshit and who will be prepared to try out his fragile shoulders...
I dont single him out for this type of negative behaviour - its often the norm regards the the human psyche when the abilities of years past are unachievable in their current stage of life.
BUT - please prove me wrong Mr D - it woud be a pleasure to see you play with style and professionalism
