Young Howson looked at home in the Black & White colours last week freeze!! ;)

considering SD reserves are breathing down EF reserves neck, quite surprised Howson didn't do a 'Foxtel' for Swans and let Peel win!

I wonder what his parents think in relation to the alignment right now and what their thoughts will be in a year or so.

My money is on they will be happy about it and the benefits their son gets as a result of the alignment.

Agree to a degree mate but if EP win their reasonably "easy" games on the way home and we lose tomorrow and v SD after our bye we could lose 2nd spot. So a win is important. Percentage is in our favour so that is handy :)

Now I know EF will want us to beat SD in the last round as it could come down to that
Perth are now out of the equation..not mathematically but with home run.
So the way EF would like it :)
Win v WP taking them to 40
SD loss to CLA leaving them on 40
EF win v SD round 23 taking them to 44 if they lose SD to 44 EF 40 (though EF are still in it.)
but must beat Cla in the last game and WP must win v SD..

So basically you will live to the last round whatever the result tomorrow but I am sure it will certainly put you in with a better seat than SD if they lose and you win..

As WAFLOVER said in his roundup...

Lets assume you get to fourth spot or Swans it will most probably be your last game v the WC ROYALS.. East Perth are looking somewhat ominous now. Another big win and six Eagles have now qualified to play finals - Matt Rosa, Adam Selwood, Blayne Wilson, Cale Morton, Scott Lycett and Jamie Cripps.
I don't begrudge them Adam Selwood (always an EP-aligned player), but I think the addition of Rosa, Wilson and Lycett from Peel has strengthened them (despite the loss of Dockers players to Peel). And I think Morton and Cripps, who should be playing elsewhere, have certainly tipped the scales...

All the best guys seeya at the game

Looking forward to this I must say and took the $2.37 on offer just quietly.

Happy with Brennan and Duffy as ins as it strengthens our backline and gives us another dangerous forward. With WP with some important outs I hope the boys hunger to play finals is kept alive.

Colts need a good win to improve their % and ressies need to keep on winning to stay in the 4 but I see WP 2nds have been playing well so looks like it will be a good game.

Go you Mighty Sharks!!!

Nice odds. Thought they'd be a bit shorter than that. Should be a good game. EF by 21 points.

Hate to say this but what a spineless performance by the falcons after half time. To blame injuries is just embarrassing. They cannot win the flag as long as my bum points to the ground. Okay for half a game but then blame injuries? Weak. We had no Hadley, no Lester smith, no Boyle and then lost Duffy. And where the f are the sharks supporters talking up their victory!?!?
