Interesting article in todays Melville Herald.. Fremantle and East Fremantle councils will cease to exist in 18 months. Wonder how this will effect Moss street as No EF councilers loyal to EF will be around I suppose? Just a bunch of bureaucrats interested in the Big Dollar.. Melville wil be taking over.. Rates up 6% this year.
But then again you can always move to Freo when Dorkers move to Cockburn..

Seems the Melville council is not happy either.. Bit of dissension there on page 2

Just an item I though you guys would be interested in. Heres the web copy

and here is one for you cardy

A woman wearing a EF Supporters shirt was standing at the edge of a cliff trying to get the nerve to jump off.

A homeless drunk wearing a wp supporters shirt stopped and mumbled, "If you're about to kill yourself, how about a f*ck before you go?"

The woman was angry and said, "No! F*ck off you filthy old mongrel,

The drunk turned to leave and said, "No problems, I'll just go and wait at the bottom of the cliff then."

We got around the resident problem Strono because we don't got alot residents round the oval. Showgrounds to the east, railway to the west, lake and golf course to the west, depot to the north. East Freo is surrounded by suburbia and will have their hands really full trying to satisfy them with any redevelopment plans. I like the idea of East going full circle back to Freo oval, but thats for you blokes to work out.
