A clinical performance! Great win. Sets up a wonderful challenge at home next week against Perth.

We looked a cut above Swans, who were really poor. Not sure what happened to their team but they’re a shadow of last years model. Kohlmann proved a handful for Marlin and kept the game close but we looked sharper and ran over the ground better

Almost all the goals were scored at the eastern end of ground despite looking like a 2 goal breeze at best. After an almost even first half (on the scoreboard) an 8 goal third goal term by the blue and whites put the result well beyond Swans.

The usual suspects in the middle, for us, were again excellent. Good to get Blakiston back despite looking a bit rusty, but will be better for the run. Allowed Strats to go forward too, which is another plus.

Up front Leggs bagged 4 (though at one point appeared to confuse the ball with the head of a Swans player), young Zadow looked lively and Aussie Ball had his best game for the season. Down back new recruit Avery was again very good. Lenn conceded 5 goals to his direct opponent but battled manfully.

Now on to the Cody Leggett cup. Weather forecast looks good at this stage so should see another good turn out at the new digs.

I'll have to make a few rounds of Vegemite sandwiches I can't afford the prices being charged for food at Belgravia trying to make up for the free entry.

Anyway you guys go in as warm favorites in this given we'll be missing our two biggest stars in Parfitt and Simpson. Timing is everything, you guys are getting your troops back while our injuries are starting to mount.

That sounds pretty good DD - bring your own sandwich and not a bad effort with just vegemite. I'm thinking turkey and swiss on rye with cranberry sauce. Probably right about the Sharks going in as favs too. Anyways should be a cracking game.
