It is quite incredible that you only have two players listed on the injured list at the half way point of the home and away season and both those players only 2 and 1 weeks away. Sanchez quad 2 weeks and Harrison Marsh hamstring 1 week.

Maybe the secret is training on lots of different grounds for variety? Next best is Swans and Peel with 5 which is also pretty good.
Get on your bike.
It was Adam and Eve not Adam and Steve.

DD, like Perth's injury's list, its taken till now for EF to get it to two, was double figures for quite some time from round 1. Anyway considering Boekhorst, Zadow and Marlin were league team outs on the weekend, and all three didn't play reserves v WP, plus Cripps hasn't played for 3 weeks, so I am not too sure how accurate that injury hub list is.....not only for EF, but others as well. I think SD injury list, is the only club that hasn't seen double figures in 2024, that's if the injury hub is to be taken as being true.

Agree with the comments re Blakiston, he won EF reserves F&B last year from memory, did ok v Peel in Round 1 playing 2nd fiddle to Teakle, then got dropped, till Teakle leaving before the Derby. Ex SF reserves ruck, 206cm and quite athletic for his size. WP Carter is no dunce either, considering he matched Jones for hit outs last week in the Perth Derby. Great to see Blakiston step up with the opportunity and gain some self belief that he belongs at the WAFL level. So it's up to Blakiston and McGuire to stay fit and lead EF ruck in 2024.

Not sure where Cripps is, not on the injury list and hasn't played for 3 weeks and young reserves ruck, Wills is only 195cm. Can't see Strnadica playing in 2024, the June 30th cut off is not far away, and the big fella hasn't done a pre season of any sort, plus no intel on EFFC page about him even training.....so  hopefully he is back for 2025.

Freezin Cripps played for Kulin-Kondinin in the Eastern Districts FL on the weekend, has played there a few times across the season. Interesting he is playing country footy rather than reserves for his WAFL club?

Cheers for that...Cripps has .played 2 games this year I see over the last 3 weeks. Strange decision considering he made his league debut this year...maybe work related.....who knows?

Heard he was training back in early May, but not so now, always hard to play catch up fitness wise with no pre-season foundation under your belt. Hopefully back for the November pre-season. Too young and too good to give it away, but life is life sometimes.
