Good to read your thoughts again Custy, hopefully 58 will be back soon as well.. Both SD and EF are missing a few, especially SD up back, allowingl EF tall forward brigade an opportunity to take advantage, which O'Reilly did with his 6 snags....10 in 2 weeks for the fella....may it continue.
Definitely nice to arrest that 2 game losing streak to sneak ourselves back into the top 5.....the top 3 look well ensconced and EP not far behind them....could be down to EF and WP for that final spot.....though an upturn in fortunes for EF on the injury front, could see EF build some pressure on those above, with a run of wins.
I guess the bye comes at a good time for EF, allowing another week for the likes of Murdock, Joyce, Schoenfeld and Leggett to recover and hopefully get back on the park very soon. With Meade not far away and Lester Smith better for the run, plus Cleaver back from the VFL, EF will definitely need all hands on deck for the latter half of the season.
