Kind of got the feeling here this game will go either of two ways.....EF will end the season on a high and end their WP one kick hoo doo.....or EF will get slammed by a WP side on a high after their SF win on Sunday.

The usual WP 4 will no doubt be EF nemesis in seeking a winning send off at Shark Park.....Nelson, Black, Knott and Keitel......the first two will always get plenty of the footy, whilst the latter two kick majority of WP goals each weekend.....does Monaghan put Marsh onto Keitel for Sat?....Marsh has the height, speed and strength to nullify Keitel, can see Keitel ragdolling Jupp or Bailey TBH.....whilst Meade has come on in leaps and bounds and hopefully can nullify Knott.....

With WP not having a Jones, Gault etc in the ruck, perhaps Strnadica can go forward and allow Teakle to ruck for longer periods.....hopefully the height of Dixon, Strnadica and O'Reilly could stretch WP defence marking wise. Hopefully Eardley comes up as it could be his last game perhaps....definitely will be Kommer's last game.....be nice to finish the season with a win, which would mean EF beat 7 sides this season....something they havent done for a long time......

Eardley having just turned 28 hopefully has a few more seasons at EFFC left in him. If Kommer plays surely it will be his last at the club. Jupp being our defender must get the job on Keitel.

I’d be surprised if Eardley pulled up stumps-great year where he played State footy in a new role. Would be right up there in Lynn Medal race.

Last I heard all the main players are back again with a couple of fringe players considering opportunities elsewhere. Same as every year. Buffalo was on the radio yesterday and he made it sound like recruiting would be minimal- outside another top end midfielder.

Tough to knock off WP this week who have so much to play for. Ran them close the last 2 times but this might be a bridge too far

Thought Eardley was older, so agree, he will go around again in 2022....pretty sure Brisbane Lion mid Tom Joyce is out of contract and not played a game in his 3 years there.....so could be delisted....not sure about Hooker whether he would come home, been away since he was 18, now 32, would of thought Melbourne was home now.

Considering EF pushed WP to the limit, without Marsh, Dixon and O'Reilly on the park that day, one would like to think those 3 would definitely make EF a stronger side.....Really do need to find away to shut down Keitel, he kicked 4 last time we met.....thus why I think Marsh could be a good option on curbing WP main goal scoring option....though Knott kicked 2.4 that day, so really need to nullify him as well......not sure about Black and Nelson, those two dominate most weeks..... not sure what Bill does there......

Keep their 3 key players quiet and we can win.
Jupp on Keitel. Need to double team him whenever possible.
Tag Nelson & Black with Bennett & Tassone rotating with Jansen.
Let them worry about how they can stop Marsh in the middle.
Agree with Freeze - use Teakle a bit more in the ruck and rest Strnadica forward. They then need to stop 3 talls including Dixon & O'Reilly.
Would be great to see us win our last 3 to go into next season!!!

Seems the invoice dodgers from Joondalup are as good at kicking at goal as they are at paying bills. Baskerville huge today and must go close when they count the Lynn medal votes. Eardley, Boekhurst, Marsh, Dixon, Tassone all excellent. Jupp for his role on their full forward and Burton minding number 7, English, O'Reilly,  Meade, Holmes, Jnr also very good. No passengers today and great to see 100 plus past players turn up today too.

Great win and a fantastic end to the season by winning 4 of the last 5. Black and Nelson were a 2 man team- they’re unbelievable. What a find Baskerville has been with the shift to the midfield. Tassone has settled into the backline also and gave us great drive along with Eardley. Marsh went forward in the 3Q and turned the game while Dixon and O’Reilly- both 21- look a lethal combo. Surely Dixon gets another shot at AFL.

Great to see all the past players send the ground off- Kommer chaired off and retiring. Assume all the other older crew are playing on.

Other finds for the year have been Meade ad Murphy down back. McGuire and Tucker showed promise. Finn Gorringe looks ready made. Strnadica and Teakle formed good Ruck combo over the backend

English, Dixon, Marsh, Schoenfeld and O’Reilly have been excellent additions. Chalmers was also good off 1 game so hope to see a lot more next year.

Been a while since such an optimistic end to a season
