Anyway, what is wrong with them against us? Collingwood use that theme, as are the esserden boys atm. Geelong leant that way because they're 'not part of Melbourne'. Isn't that what sport is about? How about we cut the 'them against us' from the Ashes series?? Yeh right, like that would ever happen!!

Well Aus v Poms is the whole country for one point 58, and the pies is them against us be they vic teams or any other, here its a state thing, not a "team thing". Bit like if the eags dont win i hope the dockers do, cos they from WA (mind you i know you aint in that boat mate)

I don't think Billy or TI would be bothered one bit with this over sight, both fella's know what they achieved in the game......and how well respected they are amongst the footy community.......any way Bomber only got inducted for his helicopter ride into Geelong....from memory his helicopter ride was more memorable than his 60 odd games for Geelong!

Freezin it has long been stated that he deserved Hall of Fame status and the fact it has taken so long is indicative of the 'Victoriai-centric' bias of the Hall of Fame. Peake was a true champion of the game of Aussie Rules in the sstrictest sense of the word.

Whether Walker or Michael worry about whether they are Legends of the Hall of Fame is a moot point. The point is that the history of the WAFL and SANFL are not given the credit they deserve. Unless there is pressure brought to bear on the powers that be this will continue and as the older generations of the WAFL and SANFL die out so will the history and players of the WAFL and SANFL.

Two other examples when there is a discussion of the most successful Aussie Rules clubs do East Freo or Port Adelaide get a mention; similarly when it comes to goalkickers do any WAFL or SANFL forwards get mentioned?
