It was a disappointing day and similar to alot of the losses where 1 poor quarter cost us the game. Harry looked rusty early but certainly was the best forward on the ground. Could’ve kicked 6 against decent personal opposition. The Midfield was slaughtered, I know there’s a few out but any danger of finding a player???

Warner did some good things I though. You’re right- time to bring in Browne, Williams ect...

KC, now with an extension signed and sealed, no chance of Dixon or Marsh back for the foreseeable future....and we know what Burton, Bailey, Kommer and Tassone bring to the table, is it time for the coaching team to get creative and promote some more Warner like youngsters?.....I think it is.....

Frustrating day at Shark Park to say the least. 
midfield completely slaughtered and just can’t seem to capitalise on Strnadica’s dominance. 

it seems we try to play this high possession brand of footy and we just don’t have the skill level to sustain it without turning it over and getting cut open the other way. Yes, we have some injuries but crikey it’s frustrating when they work so hard to retain the footy and then one errored disposal hurts big time. 

positives- big H. Need to isolate him and be long and direct. He’ll either mark it or bring it to ground. Think he’ll also have his defender panicking as well as it would be lonely on “Taylor Island”.

Oh well, on to next week for the blue n whites!
 

You’d think that at least Browne and Williams would get games over the backend, especially as Warner was serviceable and looks a player. The midfield has been decimated by injury as well- so why not bring in Browne? Smith is added to the injury list as well- some sort of leg injury.

In all honesty with EF current outs, there is very little chance EF are going to get wins over the remaining sides.... especially playing this current core of players......The promotion of Warner and getting Taylor on board highlighted that some innovative thinking  could help bring something different on match day....Williams and McMillan are 194+ each, yeah skinny and raw, but under Taylor's on field tuition, they surely will be more effective then playing gap filling forwards in Jansen, Bailey or Teakle?

Browne, Hagan and even Woewodin are playing midfield colts footy just as well as Warner had done before his promotion. Yeah they are young, but atleast they will bring energy and vitality to the team...yeah they will fark up, but hey currently aren't the experienced guys farking up anyway?

Hopefully Warner's selection will kick start a few more.......out  of interest can Warner play next week....doesn't Aquinas have first dibs on him?
