Every game is crucial in a shortened season, but this one is paramount for EF 2020 season....roll over here to Peel and I will be using the ancestry card and changing my allegiances to Perth....

Obviously the challenge is out there for the EF boys redeem to themselves and hit the bye 3/1 or 2/2. Peel, EP and Perth are all winnable games...as they are for each of those clubs too. Could of been Subi, Cl and WP to play before the bye.

Be interesting with no Peel reserves side,if Bill still pulls the trigger on a few players...no doubt easy targets in Tassone, Ryan and Davidson will be first in the gun, wonder if Bill will use others in the player group, ones with greater standing, as examples?....Jansen to come back post 2019 suspension, heard Loersch will be right to go despite a foot problem...the reserves lost, only kicking 1 goal to half time, before pegging back SF reserves some what in the 2nd half to reduce the end result to a few goals, so not sure what or who has challenged Monaghans selection thinking....time will tell I guess...up to the players to move forward and show all n sundry they are better then that derby debacle.

Loersch in for Bailey - daft of Bill to play him ahead of Bonomelli on Saturday gone. Jansen comes in for either Riach or Tassone. Davidson most likely will come out I think Bray could come in for him. Manning was very poor against South but will probably hold his spot. There was 7 or 8 players ( certainly Manning, Davidson, Bailey, Mills, Riach, Tassone and Monaghan) that should be dropped but I doubt it will happen. Probably more likely that 3 or 4 changes will be made, only time will tell - interesting to see what happens. Burton is a player who must be close to coming in - Robinson was also knocking on the door but didn't press his case on Saturday. Bockman and Murphy will possibly also come into consideration for a spot this week.

The weather forecast is looking good for match day. Although depending how much precipitation falls during the week, hopefully the ground not slippery underfoot.
Expecting a maximum of 21 or 22º with a mostly sunny morning. With the chance of rain showers later in the afternoon/ evening. Wind turning from the northwest during the day.

Sheezus, seems bloody strange talking of Manning being dropped. He was first picked at WP, in fact this has been a monumental stuff up by Kody to move across to the Sharks, he's hasn't played anywhere near his old self since :(

Leedy I thought you were the one who said Manning's injury was a really bad one and his best days were past him mate when he came to EF? Sounds like his PCL injury was a shocker...Billy won't drop him, think Manning is in too tight for that.

I don't think he will be dropped - if i was in Bill's position i would play him this week. He was very good last season for us, not good on Saturday though - but hardly Robinson Crusoe on that Island.

On behalf of the EFFC sorry if it is not GQ with you STT. Tom was at the club before Bill - what do you suggest the club do get rid of the player when they hired his Dad? hardly a better situation if you ask me. Just pick the player on merit. He was not good last weekend so may find himself back in the reserves.

Freeze, that was the sour grapes talking  I would much rather have him than not but doesn't seem to have the same desire and want at the Sharks. I have it from a good source that expected a number of Falcons to jump with him but they stuck fat. I know Conner West and Tyler Keitel were seriously considering the move along with a few lesser lights.

I heard EF threw the kitchen sink at Connor West before moving onto Leggett. West stayed strong. Didn’t know about Keitel

Good to see those boys stay the course Leedy....Keitel definitely would of been an asset....

Selection dilemmas have been sorted some what...Manning and Baskerville did hammies at training last night, so both out....Loersch still proppy on foot, so who knows....so looks like a stay of execution for a few post the derby...for me Bonomelli is a better bet at CHF then Bailey if Loersch is not fit...Jansen in for Manning....Tucker may come straight in for Baskerville...or perhaps Bray or Robinson if Tucker needs a reserves hit out....apparently EF reserves are playing Subi's in a scratchie.....
