Cheers KCEF iittle argument from me - though I personally would swap Bennett with Tassone on the wing. If Snuffy is fit I would have him in our best 22.

Griff is in a POP I see....out for a month....thank God Strnadica turned down Perth's offer then....think for Strnadica rucking is his preferred position anyway and TBH future wise EF long term premier ruckman....can always go forward to kick a few....should be Griffs last season at 34 surely?...great role model/leader for the players though right across the group.

Heard Buff jnr broke 2 ribs as well in last night's intraclub game, the Perth boys will be pleased there I guess...karma and all that.....Buff jnr definitely was a surprise packet last year with his goals....good opportunity for a Bockman, Ryan or Ritchie goal kicking small forward to step up.

Sadly for round one mate, Griff, Kommer, Jupp, Monaghan and Tucker will be struggling to play....so definitely a few positions up for grabs early on....touch wood a few youngsters like Jai Jackson, Teakle, Bonomelli, Murphy,Bockman et al can step up and play some good footy

I ventured down to the clubs Friday night event last night and the word was Griffin and Kommer will be right Rd 1.

Cheers KC, good to hear if true....Kommer especially is an important cog of EF midfield. Good to see the Q&A with Riach on the EF website....settling in nicely, gonna play more off the wing then anywhere else and states Morgan Davies and Bryn Teakle have impressed him the most...

Teakle should find out soon enough whether Essendon want him on their list or not...hopefully the kid gets a chance, but maybe a tad too raw though for AFL footy right now....

can't remember the last time EF had so many guys on their list 200 + cm....obviously all 4 can't be in the 22....unless Monaghan decides to use Teakle's athleticism in a KP role....wonder if Nic Watson will get a look in....talented mobile sort standing at 197cm who led the 2017 colts side to a flag....remember Spud Wiley blooding him whilst colts eligible.....along with Robinson and Curley....

remember jansen is suspended & will not play rd 1
