Nothing to do with Swans, all down to howlett and you would be much better off without him!

Couldn’t see Howlett getting a game in the league, he was very average when is was last here, there are much better players in the Magoos than him, still not getting a league gig

Agreed SD351. One such player is Mitch Dobson who was a regular League player last season even with the West Coast players there.

With 20 possessions in the Ressies last week and 38 on Saturday, he is just the type of player we are going to need against the big bodies at Claremont

Now that the eagles are not clogging up our list the big worry is the expectation of players which include many who played mainly reserves last year as well as recruits and players coming back from exile due to the alignment. I am sure many may think they deserve a spot in the best 22.They will have to prove they are in the best 22.I think the team will evolve and the next several weeks will show what our best 22 is.Winning a game so early in the year is a bonus.

Swans have just announced the signing of Mitch Howlett??? I thought he was not eligible due to being on the protected list or was him signing with Busselton a ploy to get around that? Looks a bit strange to me.

Was only a few weeks ago the announcement being made of Howlett would be playing in the Southwest football league. I believe he is originally from Busselton.
Obviously a lot of behind the scenes toeing and froing been happening.

I know that not many of the boys at East Perth will be worrying very much abt him or his leaving, not sure that Swans need a player of his ilk, poor team player and very much a sook!
