Besides the fact that East Perth have now got their club back under their own control i believe the biggest plus will be that you will be able to pick a more stable side each week barring injuries. The constant shuffling of out of form and returning injured players from the afl club must have had a destablising effect on the side. I remember even at Subi when we had afl players in and out of the side not even to the extent of the host club arrangement it was not ideal. When this arrangement stopped and the host clubs took over i believe it improved the situation at our club. The effect at East Perth will be magnified in my view and you guys can get back to being a real club again. Good luck!

Well said the WAFL will be a better competition having the real East Perth back in it. Looking forward to the Perth v Royals clashes and seeing Dorrington bumming free sandwiches at Lathlain again.
