West Coast obviously haven't taken any notice of the East Perth President, so it's about time the WAFC showed some balls and restricted the AFL Clubs to 10 or 11 at the most, so giving the WAFL locals at least an even standing. And what better time for them to do that was when they announced the Finals restrictions?

It is hard to watch West Coast players coming back from injury or whatever going straight into the League side, while our own good enough to be regular League players, remain in the Reserves. Even harder when the West Coasters play on restricted minutes.

And I have heard that East Perth does not have any selectors (apart from Coach Luke Webster who is paid by West Coast) on the League selection panel.

But that is something Grump may dispute.

bugger...this alignment thing is worse than I originally thought. It sounds like EP is just a vehicle for WCE to do whatever they like in the WAFL. I'm surprised EP members haven't started rioting and calling for heads to roll.

I keep coming back to Tintin Simmo telling Webster to switch Barrass from forward to back on a whim in round 1 last year. The commentators at the time called it a good move - I though oh my God is it really the case that Simpson can coach a WAFL side on a whim on game day. Surely not. Looks even worse than that.

I spoke to Mark a couple of weeks ago and from what he said, I got the impression that all was not roses.

it may not have been roses but wasn't by any stretch skeleton weed.

Just so no one decides to start an issue where there isn't one he left for his career and financial security with a young family. His replacement is someone who was at WP that had an issue with the coach and had something to do with SD.

Shit you are good, taken all this time to work that out, damn fast is not strong enough to describe your mental process.

From day dot this time around and in the last the incantation this was the process and it ain't gunna change until the WAFC tell everyone what is the pathway forward, simple as that, well it is for some people!

I'm glad others have finally cottoned onto the fact.
As it's been mentioned previously, the Wafl has been turned into a glorified training session. As harsh as that sounds, it's a fair description of the current status. 2 Wafl clubs have been taken over and big business has been allowed to do whatever they bloody like!
Not sure of the membership? Probably not too many remaining members to be able to effect any type of positive change to extract former club out of the mess?

hey Grump...get stuffed. Fortunately for me my club didn't roll over with their legs in the air for the WCE to shaft them up their fundamental orifice like yours did....so I wouldn't know just how demeaning it is for an AFL club to have total control over a WAFL club...I guess you're an expert on the subject.

If Subi aligned themselves to an AFL club I wouldn't be supporting them until the alignment finished...simple as that....and if you have a crack at me with a sarcastic comment as you did in your original expect to get it back with interest.
