I feel for you 2 loyal *Royals* but watching closely that smug obese leader and the pseudo ceo at todays game they much prefer fake success (eg by an alignment) rather than the hard earned variety ..they aint giving that up anytime soon unfortunately!

Totally agree DG, they showed that last year when the going got tough in the GF the Eagirls put the cue back in the rack and the same happened yesterday. The Real Royals, Guys like Lee, Wolf & Co worked hard all day but just so little support.

Were Lycett & Newman withdrawn late through injury or for AFL purposes? Was sitting with a WP premiership ruckman of yesteryear who on noticing Lycett out pre game declared we've got em today.

I don't think they choked because they dont have the heart they just don't have the depth. If Eagles have a better run with injury it's almost a fpr gone conclusion that Easy Perth would've won yday and likely the GF. You put Nean and Lycett in that side and they win. Don't forgett about Duggan,Brown,Mguinness,Tunbridge etc that will be back next year plus the new draftees. No doubt in my mind they are favs to win next year with a half decent run. Will be ironic as Wolfe will have retired most likely.

I agree with Mad Dog this team battled harder than the teams over the last two years. Key Eagles Injuries and the inability to recruit to cover player losses took a toll. I find it very disrespectful to a committed WP team to suggest they didn't earn their victory. I give them some chance in the GF their kicking skills will suit Subiaco.
